Abbamania have been touring since 1999 and have played in more than 20 countries as far afield as Asia and the Philippines. They will bring their own brand of Abba magic to the Ayrshire Suite after racing singing all the hits including Mama Mia, Waterloo, Dancing Queen, Tae A Chance and Voulez Vous. This will be an unforgettable performance on Ladies Day.
Highway will take to the stage in the PR Suite in the Club Stand after racing and are one of the top live acts in the country. This band’s musicianship is incredible and in singer George Hoffin they have one of the most accomplished and revered lead vocalists in the business. They are sure to have the dance floor full.
Playing to the Hospitality guests as they arrive, this piano and guitar duo will perform a cool, relaxed and informal set of songs in their unique style. Graduates of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and Leeds College of Music they are a powerful combination who can play to suit all tastes.
Drums N' Roses accompanied by the Infinity Dancers will be playing their unique fusion of traditional Scottish music and pop and rock outside the front entrance of the Racecourse setting the tone for a truly enjoyable day at the races. Their quirky renditions of classic hits will soon have the crowds dancing along!
Throughout the day a juggler and hula hooper will be out and about wandering through the crowds, showing off their respective skills and adding to the fun of the occasion.
Entertainment on Saturday 18th April 2020
One of the best live bands on the circuit this talented, young energetic covers band have a very distinctive sound featuring a saxophone/keys player. With an amazing set list that includes covers of Paulo Nutini, The Killers and Bruno Mars catch the Foxes playing after racing in the PR Suite in the Club Stand.
Nicholas was runner up in the 2013 X Factor final and then signed a major record deal and his album reached the top 10. He toured the UK playing massive venues and has carved a highly successful solo career and performs all over the world. Today he is performing in our brand new Enclosure 27.
Drums N Roses accompanied by specially selected dancers will perform the opening song on Coral Scottish Grand National Saturday in what is sure to be a highly charged performance in front of the main stands. Mixing traditional Scottish music and rock and pop the pipers and drummers of this unique band, who have wowed crowds at Global’s Rewind Show and sold out the famous Glasgow Arches, will set the scene for a truly memorable day. Accompanied by the INFINITY DANCERS they will also perform at the Front Entrance of the Racecourse.
Colin will be taking to the decks in the Grandstand after racing to play a DJ set that is guaranteed to have the dancer floor full. He will play some classic tunes and instil his own zany brand of humour as he keeps the party moving.
One of the UK’s leading Beatles tribute acts who are in demand all over the world will be playing before and during racing in the Tennent’s In The Tent Marquee in the Grandstand. Be transported back to the heady days of Beatlemania and enjoy some unforgettable songs.
A popular highly talented musician who is equally at home playing the guitar or harp Declan will be playing in the Hospitality Suite. He will be singing a selection of popular songs.
This talented duo, who have been playing together for 15 years, will be performing on the Champagne Lawns before and during racing and will chose from a repertoire of more than 250 songs that will suit all tastes.
Throughout the day a Stilt Walker and uni cyclist will be out and about wandering through the crowds and adding to the fun of the occasion.
Playing at the Front Entrance of Western House Hotel this highly experienced group of musicians play a unique blend of jazz and Dixieland blues and are always popular with those who attend our major racedays at Ayr.
Aimee will be singing a set of well-known songs and playing keyboards after racing in Western House and there will be pop, rock and soul classics in her repertoire.
