The two day extravaganza of racing and entertainment that is the Coral Scottish Grand National Festival kicks off with the glitzy and glamorous Ladies Day.
Glamour is very much the order of the day. Hats and Facinators are optional but on display in abundance. Style, glamour, fashion – we have it all. And with fantastic prizes to be won for the Best Dressed Ladies and Gents in our fabulous Style Awards, style is very much a focal point of the day.
Smart dress is encouraged and many hospitality guests like to dress up. Gentlemen generally wear suits or smart trousers and jackets although a tie is not compulsory. Ladies tend to take advantage of the occasion and dress up!
Smart Casual dress code is accepted but no ripped/torn denims or trainers are permitted. Many racegoers make it a special occasion choosing to dress accordingly. Once again suits for the gents and stunning outfits and headwear for the ladies are very much the order of the day.
There is no formal dress code for this area, but no football or rugby colours and only tasteful fancy dress. Once again racegoers tend to dress to impress.
