Rule The World

After racing for three hours there will be entertainment in the Ayrshire Suite featuring the band widely recognised as the greatest Take That tribute band RULE THE WORLD will be performing hit after hit in the Ayrshire Suite after racing and will be followed by COLIN McCARDLE.

Rule The World are the only tribute to have met the real Take That and appeared with them on BBC 1s Graham Norton Show.

They have also appeared on ITV1 as well as in front of many famous faces including Coldplay, Melanie C, Edith Bowman, Ricky Tomlinson and Jason Orange’s mum who loved them !

This three piece line up tour all over the UK and mimic the sounds, look and feel of the original TakeThat and their incredible impersonation makes for a stunning show. Immediately following their performance COLIN MCARDLE will take to the decks in the Ayrshire Suite keeping the dance floor full with his selection of classic hits.

Colin McArdle

Is a DJ who guarantees to pack the dance floor and will be playing in the Ayrshire Suite within the Grandstand. He plays a huge selection of hits peppered with his own zany sense of humour. A real racecourse favourite.

Angelstar

Angelstar play in the Horseshoe Bar in the Clubstand for three hours after racing.

This three piece band consists of Cheryl, Fran and Marc and play music that will suit all tastes while keeping the dance floor full all night. They are back on one of our biggest days of the year by popular demand.

Drums n Roses

Drums n Roses

Will be playing at the front entrance of the Racecourse before racing. With a pool of some of the best pipers and drummers in Scotland, Drums N’ Roses play their unique mix of rock and pop and traditional Scottish music featuring world class performers.

The Rhythm Kings

Are Ayr Racecourse favourites and will play in the Champagne Lawns. Formed from the cream of Scottish Dixieland Jazz musicians their unique blend of jazz and Dixieland blues always goes down well with those who attend  our major racedays. racing.

Aimee Penman

Aimee Penman

One of the country’s leading classically trained singers  will be performing in the hospitality area before racing.
Aimee is now based in London busy performs all over the UK and enjoys returning to her native Scotland to sing.  She has appeared with the Napier Chamber Choir, the Contemporary Music Ensemble and has appeared as a soloist in Scottish Ballet’s production of the Snowman.

Throughout the afternoon there will be some fantastic entertainment from AERIAL EDGE ACROBATS who will be performing their skilled moves throughout the course.

PRIOR to the first race on Coral Scottish Grand National Saturday EMILY MIDDLEMAS, the teenage Scottish singing sensation who took The X Factor will perform in front of the packed stands.

Emily Middlemas finished in fourth place on the last series of the show after impressing judges with her amazing voice.

And the 18 year-old will sing her special version of the Proclaimers’ classic 500 Miles which is sure to get Scotland’s biggest and richest raceday off to a rousing start.

Emily was mentored by Simon Cowell in The X Factor and was his last remaining contestant now you can see her live on Saturday April 22.

Will be playing for three hours after racing in the Horseshoe Bar in the Clubstand and are a not to be missed band who use their huge musical talents to deliver their interpretations of classic songs. A really stylish act.

Play before and during racing in the Tennent’s In The Tent Marquee within the Grandstand. This four piece band have long been recognised as one of the finest tribute acts and have played at Beatles festivals all over the UK. This Fab Four attract a huge crowd when they play at the Racecourse

Will again be welcoming those entering via the main entrance at the front of the Racecourse. A fusion of rock, pop and Scottish music this creates an amazing pre racing atmosphere.

The Bourbon Street Jazz Men

will be playing throughout the afternoon in the Champagne Lawns and their traditional jazz sounds provide a hugely relaxing atmosphere.

Will again be performing in the hospitality area before racing.

Her superb vocal talents appeal to all and her repertoire includes well known songs given her own special interpretation.

Afton Strings

Provide a very special welcome outside the front entrance to Western House. This strings ensemble comprises all Scottish professional players freelancing with leading orchestras and their extensive repertoire includes anything from Bach through to Abba, Cole Porter and Coldplay
